Good Morning Everyone –
At the AGM last week the membership voted to implement the following changes:
- The INT-15 family of plans will be completely discontinued, any members still receiving this service will be transitioned automatically to the next lowest-cost plan starting May 1, 2025. MRCC understands that the price increase is not insignificant. However, the INT-15 plans have been provided for the last few years at approximately 56% under cost. Due to the large discrepancy, MRCC can no longer be able to shoulder the expense of providing these plans at this price.
- IPTV package prices will see a 20% increase beginning in May, this is due to increases in licencing fees, which have again resulted in poor operating margins for these offerings. The increases should be between $1 and $2 for all regular packaging. The price for TSN and Sportsnet will see the largest increases at approximately $4 each.
Milk River has been seeing some rolling outages over the last few days, technicians are responding as quickly as possible when they occur. The outages are caused by fluctuations in the Coaxial lines. The overall cause of these fluctuations is currently thought to be changes in temperature.

Good Morning -
An Update from MRCC: Technicians no longer think that the cause of the signal fluctuations (changes) is temperature-related, this brings efforts back to the drawing board.
You should be seeing them around town throughout the day working on adjusting levels. Please keep in mind that outages may take longer to bring back online over the next few days as they will need to leave the system offline for a period of time to identify potential causes.
Thank you,
